yall are getting WAY too comfortable shitting on s1 of jjk when it was literally in the top tier shonen animation in 2021 when it came out and was PERFECTLY set into the codes at the time. still clears 90% of current shonen adaptation btw. put some respect on s1.

Been seeing so much harsh criticism on this piece and it made me sad cause I think the art is great (yes, even with all the reds) but it could def benefit off varying its values a bit for visual clarity! Did a quick 10 min edit so it's messy and not perfect since it's something I struggle with myself but hope it helps to show that a little goes a long way! This also doesn't mean the original is "wrong" cause it's all just preference but I tried addressing what some people were mentioning since I thought it'd be a helpful visual for an art fundamental 🖤

@cursesoup @JeMappellePercy Yes, that's natural and the reality for non-english people. And english is not the only language you learn, usually there are at least 2-3 more of the bigger ones that are obligatory in school (like spanish/italian/french/german)

I can’t fathom living in a culture where hundreds of millions of people tune into this and don’t lose their ever-loving fucking minds over how incredible it is.
