Such sad news. Mar spent a lot of time roping me into crazy things but I don't think I'd be where I am today without her encouragement and the people she connected me to. Thanks @MarDixon for everything

Heda lived through the Jewish ghetto under Nazis, transportation, death of all her relatives, Auschwitz, escape from the death-marches & 20 years of Stalinist communism that never paused in its grinding cruelty. All recounted in the most vivid, lyrical style. Wow.
