@OldFootball11 Look at the stripes! Is this a Serbian thing? I was painting a Partizan Belgrade subbuteo team a few years ago and the reference photo had the same issue. Took me a good 20mins figuring out why it didnt look correct!

Salah/AFCON/Balon d’or! The point I was trying to make yesterday was that MO Salah is at a disadvantage playing for Egypt in terms of him winning the Balon D’or. If Salah had an average season at LFC but won the AFCON & was MVP I don’t think he would win the Balon d’or.

@rioferdy5 @FIVEUK It's not on the same level as the Euro's, Copa Am or the World Cup. Why aren't people piping up about the Asia Cup, The Concafa Cup and the OFC cup as well? They're all important to their federation members but nobody is going to win a Balon D'or for winning one!

It's time for everyone to get 100% Andy Robertson. He is going through a tough run of form but he has been absolutely outstanding for Liverpool since he arrived. Put his assists and brilliant performances aside he has always given his all for the club. He has a lot of credit built up over the years. He has given to the fans the club now the fans need to give to him. 'YNWA' should be an unconditional symbol of what it means to be a Liverpool supporter, player or anyone associated with the club. Don't cast aside his brilliance for years over a few sub par displays. Countless times he has come straight out to do post match reactions after abysmal team displays, he's never hidden and he won't hide now.

@subbuteo_paints It's picking out the stand out detail and doing it well. For example if I was painting a Croatia, I would concentrate on the checkered pattern more than the badge etc. As for technique, nothing can beat time and experience. There are very few shortcuts.

@subbuteo_paints Your teams are always great. The trick is finding the correct amount of detail for a team. Too little and they all end up look like Refs 1 and 2. Too much and you can make a mess of a team.
