@MayorofLondon why have you made it impossible for committing in and out of central impossible. My family and I spent almost 2 hours today trying to get out for a trip that was only meant to be 45 minutes.

We stood at bus stops with our 3 year old son in a pram with no buses in sight. If it’s not roadblocks it would be closed tube stations. No one can drive anymore yet everyone struggles to get around. As a Londoner, it’s painful to watch london in decline all in the name of….

Sweet Salone did a great job at sharing about Sierra Leone through food. On a Sunday like today, I am currently reading and rediscovering Sierra Leone from the culinary traditions made possible by Sweet salone.

Those who know me know that I am not much of a reader and would rather consume info pictorially. So you may ask, why is a book (cookbook) on here? Well first of all, I love food and I like to try my hand in the kitchen from time to time (cough cough).

I always say that there are three things (among others) that preserves a culture and they are Fashion, Music and Food. These are the three main things you need to pay attention to when you want to learn about a people.

Sweet Salone is a book about the incredible food from Sierra Leone. It is packed with tantalising recipes I would refer to as Afro-fusion. The book is not only a cookbook but gives the reader an insight into the history of Sierra Leone.

Anyway, I had the pleasure of scooping a signed copy of this amazing SWEET SALONE book via the author Maria @shwenshwenbymaria who also doubles as my friend ☺️.

I think I do a pretty decent job too even tho my wife who’s a caterer would day otherwise but who’s comparing eh 🤣. Secondly, this book is packed with amazing imagery that will transport you to parts of Sierra Leone not seen before.

@ChrisCrosss98 @Fulham_1879 Cruel for who? You alluded that the child is already dead so surely that does not affect him. The only cruelty I see is people on social media pass judgment on these devastated parents who are willing to cling on to the smallest of hopes. They deserve all the support they can get

@cutsforhim @Fulham_1879 Every single medical expert who has heard this case, have all come to the same conclusion. In that case, where the parent isn't listening to the experts, it's acceptable to do what they are doing. What the parents are doing is cruel.

I feel for the parents of Archie Battersbee I do, but to say that the Dr's who have fought tirelessly and patiently for months to help him are executing him really is rude. They've done nothing but try to help. That poor boy is brain dead and that kind of damage is irreversible.
