@savoryaudio What charts are you referring to? I don't usually check out the store charts. I def used to read DJ's personal charts, but maybe not as much as I used to. Tracklists though, absolutely

@cutups This past year the charts have become dominated with stuff I’m not into. But most people probably are because it’s popular. But I’m still excited about the genre. Just not that stuff.

Sometimes I have to realize that what DNB is to me is probably not what it is to other people. Especially the younger generation but then the older generation doesn’t get it sometimes either because the classic are classic but DNB is more defined by current releases.

@savoryaudio While we don't have an active scene for D&B right now, people still play it. But I don't find when I listen to them or chat with them they are mostly focusing on new releases. Def not like it was "back in the day". I recognize though that even this is just my perspective

@cutups I don’t know if Pittsburgh has any bearing on anything anymore heh. But I guess it’s sort of in line with the OP that it means something different to everyone. And that said maybe a description more than it’s dnb is required.
