Alternatively, you can also use google (google AI answer mode is super smart that it can directly give you the name of decision makers). For instance, if abc shows up on finsme website, you can say “who is the founder of ABC” on google 4. Once you look them up on LinkedIn, connect with them. This is where it gets more interesting. We want to connect and also mail them. How then can we get their contacts? Read on 5. Recruitment is rarely just about “finding the best person for the job.” That whole idea that HR fairly and objectively picks the most qualified candidate? It sounds nice, but it’s mostly a corporate story we’ve all been sold. In reality, hiring decisions are shaped by a lot of unspoken factors, things that go beyond what’s written on a CV. Just pay attention. Every job post, every shortlist, every interview… there are invisible filters at play. These filters are often about maintaining structure, keeping things predictable, protecting existing hierarchies, and making sure new hires don’t disrupt how the organization already works. So HR isn’t just hiring, they’re also managing risk. The criteria they set, the questions they ask, the way candidates are assessed, it’s all designed (sometimes subtly, sometimes deliberately) to favor people who align with leadership priorities, fit into the existing culture, and won’t challenge the status quo too much. That’s why “merit” isn’t always as straightforward as it sounds. It’s often the cover story. What really matters is alignment, how well you fit into the system as it already exists. “CULTURAL FITNESS”
