Embrace your circumstances. Find ways to use your gifts, talents and experiences to serve others. What makes you feel alive?

Good Friday is our reminder that when everything feels lost, when darkness seems to take over, there is hope on the way. We know a better ending because we know a victorious Savior. Darkness may last for a while, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5)

Learning deeper trust in God doesn’t often happen in straight lines of obedience. It’s when we cycle through trials, tripping and sometimes falling, that we realize our desperate need for Him. Knowing our need for Him leads us to putting our trust in Him.

What if we viewed disappointment in light of the fact that God isn’t trying to break our hearts but rather make us ready for what He sees just ahead? We might not understand why He does or doesn’t allow some things to happen. But may we choose to trust Him.

Forgiveness doesn’t let the other person off the hook. It actually places them in God’s hands.
