Boy that @Lewis09Bandits has some ballers on their squad !!! From Centerville, Ohio- Louisville commit @Natalie6Carr came to PVS yesterday & here is how she did: 11 AM 2:30 PM Velocity 66-70mph ⬆️69-74.5 mph Arm Stress 44-48nm ↔️47-49 nm RPMs 790-825 ⬆️850-1075 A Bandits teammate of Wisconsin’s @Zhana_20 (@MizzouSoftball). Natalie had the 3rd Highest baseline range we ever tested joining Zhana & @RyleighPerks4 (@HokiesSoftball). She would ultimately leapfrog Zhana on our all time velocity board with her 74.5 Here is what we did Natalie already had very good throwing mechanics. We saw opportunities with her front side and how it impacted the timing of the back side releasing forward. We further explored some New ideas for engaging the ground with her right foot. Natalie is a very gifted mover- she would get some of our more difficult tasks in one or two takes- which allowed us to get further and further into uncharted water. We developed / created three or four new strategies that we will name after her. Her ability to move in a certain way at a certain time gave us the chance to try some new things for future athletes that travel to Pittsburgh. But other than that- almost everything we did was related to timing. It’s not just what has to happen, but when it must happen to make sure the body sequencing is correct. We stopped the session several times to show her how the smallest of differences with her front side would impact what her backside would do. We were able to show her how those differences showed up in a major way with regards to arm whip and layback timing. A multi sport athlete, Natalie is a hitter in the middle of her high school volleyball team. She was gracious enough to allow us to test her for reactive jumping & Rate of Force Development with some of our technology as it pertains to helping other athletes. We are thankful for that!!!!
