Final -- Devon Prep 58, Obama Academy 41 in the PIAA Class 4A championship. The Tide wins a third consecutive state title. Obama trailed by as many as 17 points before pulling to within six in the fourth. Eric James scored a team-high 19 points.

Eric James with the steal and score to pull Obama within 45-39 with 3:06 left. The Eagles once trailed by 17.

And here comes Obama!!! After Eric James made consecutive baskets to cut the Devon Prep leads to 41-33, Devon Prep is called for a technical foul. Jaden Colbert makes two, and Obama now trails, 41-35, with four minutes left.

Not since DeJuan Blair and the legendary 2007 Schenley team has a Pittsburgh City League team won a PIAA title. But Obama Academy can change that tonight when the Eagles take on two-time defending champ Devon Prep. Said coach Naron Jackson, "‘This is Pittsburgh vs. Philly."

With starters Payton Newman and Ainsley Allison on the bench with four fouls, freshman reserve Lilly Cain and junior Sophia Bonner combined for 27 points in the second half to help Neshannock rally for a 61-57 win over Bishop McCort in Monday’s PIAA Class 2A semifinals.

Final -- Neshannock 61, Bishop McCort 57 ... Luann Grybowski's Lancers advance to the PIAA Class 2A final for the third time in six years! Sophia Bonner and freshman Lilliana Cain were the stars, fueling a second-half rally by combining to score 27 points in the second half.

Jaidon Nogay buries the 3 and Neshannock is now rolling! The Lancers lead Bishop McCort, 50-44, with 5:10 left. They have outscored the Crushers, 11-5, in the fourth.
