This week, we didn't have a graded Weekly Sketchbook, so I let students decide their own prompts. Each class voted on their classmate's works. 7th Grade Winner - Sirenhead Two students collaborated and worked on a similar topic, helping each other make it better!

@MrMichaelEtter @CreekValleyMS @FineArtsLISD 2/2 square. I had them draw 4 thumbnails and pick their strongest composition. Then I gave them 24"x24"paper and we used a 3x3 grid to scale the sticky note sketch up to the project paper. From there we talked about weighted contour and line variety 😁

Ss do their thumbnails on sticky notes, I encouraged them to crop the piece as if they laid the sticky not on their items and captured what was in that
