@NicolaDiMarzio3 @ISBioFab Hi @NicolaDiMarzio3, that's an excellent question. Yes, indeed, it would be very interesting to see how the cells respond on these scaffolds when subjected to an external stimulation. This is one of our ongoing projects, so hopefully, we will have more information on it soon! :)

@cvsAnand @ISBioFab Hi @cvsAnand, cool bioengineering approach! Will you culture the cell-coated membrane under mechanical stress? Do you expect a different alignment of the cells under mechanical stimuli of the membrane?

@liliangouyang @ISBioFab @carlos_m_mota Furthermore, a general CNA35-FITC staining demonstrated a similar trend in the production and alignment of extracellular collagen matrix, where a higher deposition was noted along the additive manufactured filaments. Please check it out highlighted in the figure below!

@liliangouyang @ISBioFab @carlos_m_mota Thanks Liliang for your question! Two different cell types: human dermal fibroblasts and human mesenchymal stromal cells were used. The presence of radial and circumferential fibers allowed a guided cell distribution and alignment along them. Please check out the figure below:
