We kicked off #pridemonth2022 with @Lloyde_Bulldogs & CVISS students visiting other campuses to promote PRIDE day. Students signed Ally Pledge cards. Each school wore a different color to reflect the colors of the rainbow - to show unity & solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community.

Today, we celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a dance show and origami lesson in Nyman hall at Hawthorne High School. 🌺 This was a student collaboration of the @HHSCougars and @LeuzingerHS AAPI & Equity Clubs. #AAPIHeritageMonth #CVUHSDproud

@LawndaleHSROCKS Commercial Music put on #Lawndalepalooza in the CVCA. The students ran the entire show, including operating the sound & lighting. The BCA was there to offer first aid, which we thankfully did not need! Everyone did a fabulous job! #CVUHSDproud #CVfamily

The Board recognized @Lloyde_Bulldogs for being named a Model School by the @CADeptEd & an exemplary program by the @CCEAplus for their “Life After Lloyde” program. @CCEAplus also named our very own, Deputy Troy Hilliard, SRO of the year! Our new Employees of the Year announced:

@LeuzingerHS CCA for competing in the C-CAP Competition with 4 students awarded scholarships; all students who have enlisted in the military; & our Student Board Reps who came every month to represent their schools. What an AMAZING group of students! We truly are #CVUHSDproud!

Tuesday’s Board meeting, the last of the school year, was a night full of recognitions! This first group of recognitions shown includes: the @LawndaleHSROCKS Girls Basketball Team for winning the state championship; the @HHSCougars Academic Decathalon team for earning 7 medals;
