@HardingArt @preterniadotcom I absolutely love the work you’ve been doing on these and the Sesame Street figures! Did you do Big Bird too? I’m a lifelong lover of the bird and I’ve never been more excited for a figure than him. The latest sculpt in particular is PERFECT:

@KanesTheName I think part of it could also have been a choice from the creators themselves. Underplaying and holding back leaves the audience wanting more—the ultimate thing you want people to take away from a pilot.

Parts of the special feel a little cut-down too, skits feel noticeably abrupt and shortened to me. Again, my theory is that it was a longer one-off, but cut down to TV length (30 minutes exactly????) so it'd fit in with the series they already know they're doing

It's weird that the special was a 50th anniversary thing but wasn't branded that way at all. My theory is that Disney soft-greenlit it late into production and removed the branding. They're already working on it, the new CEO will announce as much when he joins in March

RUMOR: The team behind THE MUPPET SHOW (2026) is working on more episodes. The team is writing episodes for future installments. Disney hasn't formally greenlit a new season or additional specials yet. (Source: open.spotify.com/episode/1urK4K…)

Is Kermit the Frog the only performer to trade lines with both Orson Welles and Sabrina Carpenter?

A little Big Bird sketch to practice coloring with Copics. Big’s become one of those things where I’ve drawn him so many hundreds of times I don’t even need a reference for him—this was entirely from memory!

Last year, Overlord Caps invited me to work on their official line of Sesame Street hats, and the first batch of my work came out last week! The finals were touched up by Sesame Workshop to better match their style guides, but those poses are mine!

vimeo.com/1043266462 We’re kicking off 365 Days of Tunes with Frank Tashlin’s PORKY PIG’S FEAT (’43). Tashlin staged his WB cartoons like live-action features, giving them a more “cinematic” quality, so take note of the layouts/camera angles. (1/365)
