My gas cooker is on its last legs, so I checked to see how much they were at Currys. £298 was the cheapest. Okay, I expected that. Then add on £30 delivery. £115 installation and £25 to take the old one away. £468 no way! I'll plod on with this one for a while longer, thank you!

@Shirls170155 I know how you feel. I caught the guy who broke into my flat at 4am. The police arrested him 18 days later, but charges were dropped. What is the use. I have lights in all my windows at night and Smile Your On Camera on the same windows

@Shirls170155 Hugs mate, I know how scary that is, had someone break in wielding a knife back in Winchester. Had to lock myself in the bathroom. Shortly after big commotion next door. Police said later he’d been after the drug dealer next door and got the wrong flat(mine).

My second eye surgery is at 0730 on Wednesday 15th October, so I'll set my alarm for 0530. The bus takes about 45 mins. Maybe I'll grab a coffee if the booth is open when I get there.

2) As luck would have it, it was the right van. Asked the driver where she delivered my package she pointed across the street. It was not my address. She went down the road to turn around and then retrieved my package. She said SatNav sent her there. Like shit it did. Got it now.

1) I didnt go out I was expecting a parcel. Royal Mail sent me an email to say it would be here between 1-5pm. Imagine my surprise when at 1.25pm I get am email to say "Left package in covered porch" I don't have a porch! I went out in the rain and chased down a Royal Mail Van.
