really frustrates me when I hear of some protocols refusing to pay for work done, or try to renegotiate afterwards, or find any reason to delay payment. It says a lot about the team — not just their ethics, but their long-term viability. i am always worried that someone working with me will feel shafted, and I do everything to avoid it
