As part of the gathering, board members had the opportunity to visit the Oracle of Delphi and the Archaeological Museum of Delphi, a powerful reminder of the cultural heritage that continues to inspire our mission. Here’s to building the future while honoring the past!

CYA’s trustees and administration gathered in Greece for our annual board meeting held between Athens and the sacred landscape of Delphi. Strategic discussions centered on the future of CYA, reaffirming our commitment to academic excellence and meaningful student experiences.

Hosted by the Maliotis Cultural Center in Boston, the program featured expert-led discussions on how diaspora media supports the preservation and promotion of Greek language and cultural identity in our globalized world.

Among them was CYA Executive Chair Alexis Phylactopoulos, who spoke about the role of CYA in providing college education in Greece to students of Hellenic origin.

The 11th International Summer University brought together participants to explore the theme “Diaspora Mass Media: Challenges and Prospects for the Greek Language and Culture.”

Proud to see our Greek Epigraphy students’ work with Professor Robert Pitt featured on @atticins! Working hands-on with inscribed funerary monuments in the Kerameikos archaeological site, they’re contributing real scholarship to the discipline.
