I started learning forex in 2024 with YouTube then I met this fine guy through link for link and added him up. I was going through his status one day then noticed he is a trader. Not only a trader, but a mentor too. I texted him up to learn from him, but mainly to have access to talk to him frequently yeah.. not knowing I was about to get scammed.
This guy told me to download mt5 and trust me that’s the only “guidance” he gave me after paying him 120,000 naira. He was like if I could bring three more people, he’d get me an iPhone 15, as I was using an android as at then.
He told me to come to Lagos and have some fun with him. I thought it was normal fun cause I was too naive to understand him.
I was just 17.
Check thread.

Few weeks ago, I shared how my own brother made me face serious hunger when I was stuck with him in Abeokuta… to the point where I was eating pawpaw for survival until I called my mum for help.
Now fast forward… life don turn
He’s broke, his phone got stolen, and he came to my DM explaining everything.
No problem, I offered him my Android and this guy said he saw me with two iPhones and wants one of them instead
At first, I was confused, bro you sure say na help you come find or na upgrade?
Now my mum is calling me on his behalf a d I told her I bought the phone for a reason and I'm not ready to dash it out
I know blood is thicker than water, but… does blood give you the right to choose the help you’re receiving?

@Kirnan0 @lucifersamael7 Then we are saying the same thing from my perspective
English

@cyphalic_ @lucifersamael7 This doesn't nullify my point.
People being optimistic doesn't make the world a better place.
Wanting good outcomes from life doesn't mean your actions are good.
If you think about it optimism is the reason why people do evil because they do it hoping for good outcomes

@cyphalic_ @lucifersamael7 What is the baseline of your claim? how do you know there are more optimists in the world?
Also, optimism = good is a false equivalent.
Someone can be optimistic about getting money from a client he's scamming.
Someone can also be pessimistic over the result of a good deed.

English

@Kirnan0 @lucifersamael7 Do you mean more people except the worst
My definition of optimism is people who are 'positive' or let me use 'expecting good' from life
Well in all I am pessimistic and I think it's a better approach
English

@Kirnan0 @lucifersamael7 There are more optimists but the world is still a bad place
English

@cyphalic_ Exactly.. sometimes, because most of the time you might just close out your mt5 and hope the tp will get hit when next you open it
English

I see people in the cs saying stuff like "if it was me, I would have closed it". That alone tells me that you haven't been in that situation before, take it from me who has experienced it first hand...There is no way You're closing that trade manually when it is that close to TP.

Trading will make you go crazy bro.

@cyphalic_ Yes💯
They believed their model couldn't fail so they didn't make any contingency plan. Recipe for disaster.

Long-Term Capital Management (LTCM) had everything:
elite traders, powerful models, even Nobel Prize winners in Economics.
The system worked for a few short years.
Then one day in 1998, they lost $550 million.
What followed turned into one of the biggest financial disasters of the 20th century which almost took the entire system down with it.
Here’s how it unraveled:

@pips_daily But you are dealing with choas, leave enough to fall back on 📌

@BlessedGirl001 My own part na, this lif get as I'm be
The guy carry clear eye dey love the kind love?
English

Some of you fall in love and I understand that love is blind
But please hold your horses and vet properly.
This guy, was in love with a lady. His parent were against their relationship
This young man fought against his own parent and siblings just so he could marry the lady.
His father stood his ground, disowned him since his son wants to throw his name to the mud, and forbade his wife from attending their son's wedding or else she will go back to her father's house.
The young man went ahead and married the lady anyways.
3yrs into the marriage, it was reported that the young man went broke.
According to the guy, he said his wife took his money, took their only child and left the house. The wife blocked him on all social media and changed her contact, leaving no traces.
The young man couldn't trace the lady and till date, and he can't reach out to his family for help. His immediate younger brother spoke about his case to their parent and in anger his dad said he should never step foot into the house. If he does, he will behead him.
If love will make you fight against your own parent so they can succumb to your will in marrying who you want, it is no longer love, but foolishness.
You might object against this tweet but with what I've seen over the years growing up, I've never seen a marriage progress within the space of 5yrs after the couple fought against their parent to get married to who they want. — I've never seen one.
Your parent's blessings for your union is very important and it is also important to note that patience is not just a Virtue but a revealer of truth with time.
If that guy was patient enough and wasn't in a hurry, he would have noticed a red flag in that lady before marrying her.
It is well...😒😒
Thanks for Reading 📚 📖 this far
The End.
