As a JavaScript developer, the world of AI has always felt like a black box. That changes today. I'm starting a public journey to master Machine Learning, starting with Python. I'll be documenting everything the code, the concepts, the struggles. Here's the plan 🧵👇
Phase 1: The Foundation (ML). My focus for the next ~3 months is mastering the fundamentals. • Python for ML • Stats & Probability • Core Models (Linear Regression, KNN, etc.) • First real-world project I'll share my study notes and "aha!" moments daily.
Phase 2: The Creator (Gen AI). Once the foundation is solid, I'll dive into the fun stuff. • LLMs & Transformers • Prompt Engineering • Building with APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face) • Fine-tuning models Expect project breakdowns and tool reviews.
Phase 3: The Future (Agentic AI). This is the end-game. Building autonomous systems that can reason and act. I'll explore frameworks like LangChain/LlamaIndex and attempt to build my own simple agents.
