@_mohansolo @antigravity Is the CLI open to all regions. Installation not working for me.

Thanks for all of the Antigravity feedback over the last couple of days, especially around the IDE. Our intention was never to remove the IDE support for developers, and we should have been clearer with that in the product from the beginning.
We’ve made it clearer in 2.0 on how to connect to the IDE, fixed issues with opening the IDE on Windows machines, provided instructions to restore IDE settings & extensions, and more.
New releases for the Antigravity IDE and Antigravity 2.0 have rolled out with these changes.
We should have done better so we’re going to reset everyone’s Gemini quota for the week again.
English

@_mohansolo @antigravity We need a terminal and commit and push on the 2.0

@_mohansolo I cancelled this migration out of fear. Thinking it will break again. How do I get the migration prompt again?

I got tired of shipping features… while my users had no clue.
So I built Shiplog It automatically reads my GitHub activity (commits, PRs, merges) and turns them into clean, beautiful changelogs.
→ My own hosted changelog page
→ Clean in-app widget
→ AI that actually writes good release notes
Launching very soon.

@capcutapp @GeminiApp Until Google buys capcut and the whole of bytedance
English

CapCut is partnering with @GeminiApp .
Soon, users will be able to edit images and videos directly within the Gemini app using CapCut’s advanced creative and editing capabilities.
As creative workflows become more connected and seamless, we believe the future of creation will be more conversational, intuitive, and intelligently integrated across tools and experiences.
This is just the beginning.

@boil_the_sea @summyfeb12 @JackWoth98 @JKirstaetter @opdroid1234 Could you please explain how you did this. Kind of confused here
English

I was just guessing, so be careful and don't hate me if it goes bad.
I copied (on windows 11) everything from the AppData\Roaming\Antigravity\User folder to AppData\Roaming\Antigravity IDE\User and I got my setup back! For extenstions they're under {user}/.antigravity/extensions and copy to {user}/.antigravity-ide/extensions
English

Hey @JackWoth98 - got all 2.0 apps/tools installed and running.
What about the changelog? No entry for 2.0 or different URL?

@the_ace_codes @honour_can_code @pamilhereen @Google @killedbygoogle Can I have both on windows. I download the app now the IDE is gone
English

@honour_can_code @pamilhereen @Google @killedbygoogle They separated into agent and IDE.
Downloaded the IDE back sha
(If you’re seeing this and don’t know how just look up Antigravity IDE and not Antigravity)
English

so basically, an IDE removed their IDE so you can use just agents to code.
@Google might just send antigravity to their product graveyard
@killedbygoogle.

English

@JackWoth98 @antigravity I'm now forced to use the App. I need the IDE.

We are unifying our agentic surfaces to @antigravity 🚀

@mark_k I see the direction. Direct competition with Claude code and codex
English

Google Antigravity 2.0 is interesting because it no longer feels like "Google made an AI IDE".
Antigravity 1.0 was the full IDE: editor, terminal, browser, agent workspace. Basically Google’s take on agentic coding as a complete environment.
2.0 feels more like they pulled the agent system out of the IDE and made it the product. It feels more like the Codex app.
Desktop app, CLI, SDK, managed agents, scheduled tasks, subagents, integrations with AI Studio, Android and Firebase.
The IDE is still there, but it’s no longer the main story.
The agent layer is.
