@ArtsyFennecPaws We'll see how much I'm able to do. Will hire a laywer next week (nobody works during Easter.) But I'm pretty sure I have a strong case, and I think the lawyer will be interested in litigating it with me (it's never been tried in court as far as I'm aware, and I'm motivated.)

I learned yesterday that a puppy I sold was euthanised behind my back nearly 3 months ago, despite the contract we signed making it absolutely clear that the buyer is required to notify the breeder (us) before any euthanasia happens and give us the opportunity to take the dog back into our care, and yet the buyer didn't say jack shit. They just killed the puppy... They did contact us earlier due to "behavioural problems." We gave advice and offered to come and retrieve the puppy with a single day's notice. They ignored the offer, and the contract, and killed the puppy anyway. I haven't slept for 48 hours now. I'm so fucking exhausted and angry. I'm going to sue them.

@ArtsyFennecPaws I do. This cannot be ignored. It devalues the protections in the contract and would be an injustice to the puppy and future litters.

@cytlan If you have the money and time to take legal actions against them I wish you all the luck in the world in doing so.

I have an explanation for why these poinciana seeds were so insanely easy to germinate: The tree they were harvested from was dying. In fact, it fell over less than a year later. This was its last batch of seeds. The mother gave these seeds the best chance at growing quickly.

(It's the rice-grain shaped seed right next to the temperature probe, where it says "K-102"; It has two radicles emerging from the shell, those two tiny light dots on the shell.)

Woha, what!? The poinciana seeds I picked from the poinciana tree outside my house when I lived in Australia almost 3 years ago have started to germinate after just 24 hours after being placed in a wet, heated towel!? I didn't even prepare the seeds, I just chucked them in there

@cytlan I was always thinking about upgrading to that phone :P but I heard my current 22 Ultra had more processing power ot battery? I wonder if that is true though..

I bought a Samsung S26 Ultra today. After extensive testing, I can confidently give it 3/5 stars. It's a good device for emulation (runs Switch emulation with few issues, once you work out the driver issues,) which is pretty cool.

@Ma1som Only plus I can give it is full speed Switch emulation because of the CPU/GPU. I have buyers remorse. This was not a good purchase.

The asking price for the Samsung S26 Ultra here is about $1700. I got a $600 discount from a retail shop (brand new,) so I paid a $1100 total. It's still overpriced and embarrassing. My 3/5 stars review stands: I don't recommend unless some technical feature appeals to you.

Besides the objectively decent CPU and GPU, the phone as a whole is a huge disappointment given the asking price. Had it at least included some decent features such as a microSD card slot and/or headphone jack, then I could forgive the camera bulge. But it doesn't, so I can't.
