You claimed you were Chief MKO Abiola's disciple and because of that, you ran away from General Abacha, and became a refugee in London, which, according to you, left you broke. Out of kindness, Asiwaju gave you £500 in 1996 to buy food. Today, you are fighting that same man! How can you fight someone who fed you because you have seen bigger food! Is food so important to you? Then, as soon as the same Abacha, whom you claimed wanted to kill you, died, you were in Kano, hyping his family and splashing their photo all over your Ovation Magazine after getting paid a handsome fee! Chief Abiola, your so-called mentor, must have rolled in his grave! How did you expect his family to feel? What a betrayal! Who does that? Is that the extent to which you like food, that you would eat it out of the hands of those who were directly responsible for the death of a man you claimed did more for you than any other person has ever done? The same MKO Abiola that you said sponsored your wedding. Your boss, Waziri Atiku Abubakar, knows that even on pain of death, I can NEVER betray him. Go and watch my various interviews. No matter how much I am baited to attack him, I have never and will never do so. Do you have such honour? You, that if Boko Haram gives you a little money now, you will feature them on Ovation and spin their terrorism as a freedom-fighting! Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate to Mexico. Gospeller. Other Presidents increased salaries, and fuel and food prices increased soon after. However, President Tinubu is the only president in Nigeria's history who increased the minimum wage by over 100%. Subsequently, fuel prices fell by over 25%, and food costs went down by various degrees. That is part of the benefit of having a First-Class accountancy graduate as your leader rather than a second-class philosophy graduate. Again, please fact-check me. But if you can't challenge me on the facts, do please feel free to insult me. #TableShaker

The Ambani wedding cost $600 million. Please fact-check me. Rema got paid millions of dollars to perform. Stars, the rich and famous, as well as influential people from all over the world, were there. Yet, you allow yourself to be manipulated by your pastor into believing that 'If you do not pay your tithes, things will be tight for you'. How much tithe did Mukesh Ambani pay to be worth over $100 billion? One megachurch pastor even recently said if you don't pay your tithe, your life is at risk. Today is Professor Wole Soyinka's ninetieth birthday. He has NEVER paid tithe in his life. He does not even believe in God. Why was his life not cut short if what the pastor told you is true? It is time to emancipate yourselves from being manipulated by religion. If you do not pay tithes, your life is NOT at risk. Please fact-check me: As a nation, Japan has the highest average life expectancy of any country on Earth, with an average life span of 84 years. Yet, Christians make up only 1.5% of their population, and the vast majority of their Christians do not pay tithes. Meanwhile, Nigeria has one of the lowest average life expectancies on Earth, with the average Nigerian living for only 53 years. Yet, we are one of the most religious countries on Earth, with a large population of tithe payers.  How can a pastor tell you that your life is at risk if you do not pay tithe and you will remain in that place? I have read Scripture in the original languages of Hebrew, Aramaic and Koine Greek. The word "devourer" in the King James Version of Malachi 3:11 is an agricultural term. It is common in agriculture. The devourer there just means an agricultural pest. It will be clear if you read that verse in the original Hebrew or a modern-day English version. Let me give you some versions: "I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the LORD Almighty."-New International Version.  "I will also stop locusts from destroying your crops and keeping your vineyards from producing."-Contemporary English Version.  "I will rebuke the locust for you, so that it will not destroy the produce of your soil; and your vine in the field shall not be barren, says the LORD of hosts.."-New Revised Standard Version. The King James Bible was written in 1611. Many words used in the KJV have different meanings today. For example, the word Africa is not used in the KJV. Instead, Africa is called Cush and Black peoples are called Cushites. In 1611, agricultural pests were called devourers. That is why Malachi 3:11 in the King James Version says: "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts." It does not mean that God will kill you if you do not pay your tithes. Even Yeshua, who we follow (not worship), did not collect tithes. Yeshua Hamasiach (Jesus Christ) only mentioned tithes when He mentioned them strictly in agricultural terms and only to the Pharisees who were under the law. We see this in Matthew 23:23: “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices--mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law--justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.” Now, I pronounce a blessing on you. You and your household will not die if you do not pay tithes. My God shall bless you, and you are likely to live as long as a Japanese, as long as you are hardworking, avoid red meat, be family conscious, and maintain hygiene. Reno Omokri Gospeller. I am shocked and deeply distressed by the news of the passing of Mr. Herbert Wigwe, a distinguished banker, humanitarian, and entrepreneur, and Mr. Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former Group Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group Plc, along with members of the Wigwe family - Herbert’s wife, Chizoba, and son, Chizi. Their passing is an overwhelming tragedy that is shocking beyond comprehension. I extend my condolences to the Wigwe and Ogunbanjo families, the business community, and all those impacted by this harrowing incident. I pray for the peaceful repose of the departed and ask God Almighty to comfort the multitude of Nigerians who are grieving and the families of the deceased at this deeply agonizing moment. If nothing is done to the soldiers who recorded and published videos disrespecting the constituted authority of the Governor of Lagos over his arrest order on a soldier riding his motorcycle against traffic, there is a very clear and present danger that Nigeria May return to the post-January 15, 1966 era, which witnessed a breakdown in discipline, and resultant erosion of the chain of command in the military. Their irreverent videos were not targeted at just Governor Jide Sanwoolu. They are also an affront to the Constitution. That video was distasteful and disrespectful and ought not to be ignored. The young man involved has to be militarily dealt with to serve as an example to others who are watching and observing. If no sanctions are applied to him, we will start seeing more and more of such unruly behaviours until Pandora's Box is opened. And in a nation of over 200 million people, that is a nightmarish scenario nobody will benefit from. Men with access to weapons must be able to control their mouths, or they will not be able to control their weapons. #TableShaker

Who Did Cain Marry If There Were No Women on Earth, Except Eve? One thing that people have tried to use to discredit the inerrancy of Scripture is the fact that Cain was able to marry and have children, even though there is no record of Adam and Eve having daughters at the time when he killed his brother, Abel. They see this as evidence that there were either other people on Earth at that time, unlike what Scripture says, or that Scripture is inaccurate and reliable. Neither position is accurate. Let me explain. 1 Corinthians 2:14 says: “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” If your natural senses lead you, you can never understand the Word of God. The Word is spiritual. Christ said as much in John 6:63: “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” So, how did Cain have children and propagate his lineage after he was banished from the presence of his parents? If you read Genesis chapter 5, you will see quite clearly that Adam had children BEFORE Seth. Obviously, Cain and Abel were born BEFORE Seth. Genesis 5:3-4 says: “Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and DAUGHTERS.” Hebrew and Ethiopic theology does NOT record female ancestry, that is why the daughters of Adam, which he had BEFORE Seth, are not named. Scripture just says that he had daughters. If you read Numbers 1:2, you will see that in the first census ever taken, God asked Moses to count only MALES. “Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, every male individually.” In Christ’s ancestry in Mathew 1 and Luke 3, only MALES were recorded. Even when Christ fed the 5 thousand with the two fishes and five loaves in Mark 6, and again, when He fed the 4 thousand in Mark 8, only MALES were mentioned. In those days, people married their sisters. For example, Sarah was Abraham’s sister, as we see in Genesis 20:12: “Indeed she is truly my sister. She is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.” Adam and Eve had daughters. Cain obviously married his sister, as did the other male children, grandchildren and male descendants of Adam and Eve, who married either their sisters or female cousins. The challenges that people have with Scripture is that they read it in English, or some other language to which it has been translated to. If I gave you $100 and you converted it to British Pound Sterling, you would get £75.3. But if you take that £75.3 pounds to a bureau de change, you would not be able to buy back the original $100. You could perhaps buy $98. You see, in the course of conversion, some value is lost. Now, consider that the King James Version was not translated from original Scripture. It was translated from the Latin Vulgate, which itself was translated from the original codexes. So, instead of buying $98, you are actually buying something like $94. Because Western culture makes men and women equal, Westerners, and those they colonised, have inserted their bias into Scripture, and because Scripture does not acknowledge women in ancestral lineage, they have been misled into thinking that only males existed on Earth (with the exception of Eve) at the time Cain killed Abel. That is far from the truth. Very, very, far indeed. And unless Christians learn from Muslims, and instead of translating Scripture, we translate ourselves, by learning the original language of Scripture, we will keep getting tossed to and fro by translators who may or may not have an agenda.
