Dear Mr. David Adeleke AKA @Davido, Thank you for your feedback. I was rather surprised by your response to my post, setting the record straight on Peter Obi's false allegations against His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, regarding the repatriation of Nigerian prisoners from the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Most shocking is your insult. You are an international celebrity whom Nigeria is proud of. Coming to insult me on my Instagram profile with such vulgar words should be beneath you. Yes, I am aware that you were upset at my appeal to you not to use an international platform, such as the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to give publicity to bandits and terrorists. I am also aware that Peter Obi praised you for doing that, which may have made you feel compelled to defend him. I did that because while your intention may be good and you think you are pressuring the government, the actual effect of what you did is to give publicity to the terrorists and help them spread fear, recruit new members, and raise funds. How can you, a Nigerian citizen, with a global platform, go on a global stage to give publicity to terrorists and de-market Nigeria, meanwhile, at that same event, and on that same day, IShowSpeed, an American citizen, used his celebrity and the global stage of the World Cup to market Nigeria by wearing a Nigerian jersey and speaking well of the same country you de-marketed. Many of us do not know what we have got. Let me give you an example: As an American citizen, you may be aware of the October 7, 2023, abduction of 254 people by terrorists in Israel, of whom the majority were women and children, including American, British, and Canadian citizens. There are many celebrities bigger than you in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Since October 7, 2023, these celebrities have performed on many global platforms, including the World Series, the Super Bowl, the NBA Finals, and the UEFA Champions League. Yet, none of them used such platforms to say ANYTHING about the October 7 abduction because they know that publicity helps terrorists and hurts hostages. We saw that in Nigeria. The #ChibokGirls were abducted on April 14, 2014. The then Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, revealed that the military had located the girls and were ready to rescue them. However, after Michelle Obama held up the #BringBackOurGirls banner in May of 2014, the publicity resulted in Boko Haram separating the girls into different groups and keeping them in various camps, while increasing security around them, which made it literally impossible to rescue them. Thereafter, Boko Haram's recruitment was boosted, and their finances exploded, and six months later, ISIS announced that they had merged with Boko Haram to form ISWAP. That is what I was trying to explain to you. Just like Margaret Thatcher said, "publicity is the oxygen of terrorism." It is also why the UNESCO Handbook for Journalists on Terrorism Coverage urges public figures not to grant terrorists any publicity. I hope you now understand my point of view. Thanks again, and may God bless you. Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate to Mexico. Gospeller. You’re right, Reno every party Peter Obi has joined has enjoyed relative peace until his arrival, and then suddenly, there’s turmoil everywhere. Why? Because the corrupt and incompetent government you work for can’t stand the idea of its strongest opponent having any stability ahead of an election; they know he could defeat them. Tell the people you work for to stop meddling in the affairs of the opposition for once, and see what happens. I dare you.

Peter Obi Leaving The ADC: A Mistake Northern Nigeria Cannot Afford To Make Please fact-check me: Every party Peter Obi has been in has been relatively crisis-free until Peter joined that party. And as soon as he comes in, peace goes out of that party and strife sets in. Once can be a mistake. Twice may be a coincidence. But after the third time, and then the fourth, it becomes a pattern. The parties are not the problem. Peter is the issue. Is this the type of character Arewa wants to pin its hope on? An Alakoba? It makes no sense for Northern Nigeria to cast its lot with Peter Obi on the strength of a one-term promise that he, given his antecedents, will NEVER keep. This is especially so when Arewa has the choice of a performing President Bola Tinubu, who, by law, can only serve one more term. Let the North weigh its options rationally, as a particularly politically astute region. Peter Obi has made four very public promises not to leave the four political parties that gave him four platforms to rise to power and prominence. And each time, Mr Obi has broken such promises, providing one flimsy reason after another. In fact, he is gearing up to exit his fourth political party and enter his fifth. That being the case, what gives the North any confidence that a serial promise breaker will keep his promise to them to do just one term? In carrying out a SWOT analysis of Northern Nigeria, Arewa will realise that out-of-school children, which are leading to a rise in insecurity, are its greatest challenge, while agriculture is its biggest strength. As such, it is prudent to ask if a man who, as Governor, did not build a single nursery, primary, or secondary school and university, and also did not develop even one small communal garden, talks more of mechanised agriculture, is in a position to add value to Northern Nigeria. It is in the best interest of Northern Nigeria to stick with the man who made it possible for General Buhari to win the All Progressives Congress Presidential primaries in 2014 and the Presidential Election in 2015. Remember, one good turn deserves another. One good term deserves another. Whether through leaked audio or public statements, President Tinubu has never jeopardised the interests of Arewa or any other part of Nigeria. Therefore, if Nigeria's unity is important to you, the only option for 2027 is Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate to Mexico. Gospeller. President Tinubu Remembered Jos Because of Conscience, While The ADC Forgot Jos Because of Power! I hope the people of Jos can see what is happening. Immediately after the crisis, prominent members of the African Democratic Congress pretended to care about you. They all spoke about the situation and blamed the President. They trended #JosisBleeding and recklessly pointed accusing fingers at the President and his government without offering solutions. But immediately the Independent National Electoral Commission obeyed the order of the Court of Appeals and de-recognised their monetised leadership of the party they bought like an Okrika cloth at Onitsha Market, what happened? What did they do? They immediately forgot about Jos. Not one of them has even spoken a word about the crisis in Jos. Their attention shifted instantly and totally to INEC. Don't take my word for it. Go to their social media profiles. If you can find even one post about Jos, return here and I will delete this article. And why? Their concern was not real! Because power, not people, is their focus. And when they perceived a threat to their power grab, they revealed their true nature. In contrast, look at the actions of the President. He was not scheduled to visit Jos. He was already pencilled to go to Iperu, Ogun State, today to flag off operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport. But because of the value he places on human life over power, President Tinubu prioritised Jos over projects and flew to Plateau State to commiserate with the government and people of that state and conduct an on-the-spot assessment before giving further directives. He met with the survivors and talked with them. He showed empathy and also listened to them. The people of Angwan Rukuba felt loved and appreciated by their President, who set a precedent of compassion. He approved the immediate recruitment of 1,000 Forest Guards for Plateau State and the installation of CCTV cameras to enhance security. He offered not only hope but also solutions. While this was going on, Peter Obi was giving an interview explaining why he is working with alleged treasury looters, before joining his colleagues at their press conference to attack INEC. If Nigeria is looking for leadership, we saw it today in Jos. For those looking for what desperation looks like, they saw it at the ADC chieftains' press conference, where they complained that the second-hand party they bought was being cheated by INEC. You claimed you were Chief MKO Abiola's disciple and because of that, you ran away from General Abacha, and became a refugee in London, which, according to you, left you broke. Out of kindness, Asiwaju gave you £500 in 1996 to buy food. Today, you are fighting that same man! How can you fight someone who fed you because you have seen bigger food! Is food so important to you? Then, as soon as the same Abacha, whom you claimed wanted to kill you, died, you were in Kano, hyping his family and splashing their photo all over your Ovation Magazine after getting paid a handsome fee! Chief Abiola, your so-called mentor, must have rolled in his grave! How did you expect his family to feel? What a betrayal! Who does that? Is that the extent to which you like food, that you would eat it out of the hands of those who were directly responsible for the death of a man you claimed did more for you than any other person has ever done? The same MKO Abiola that you said sponsored your wedding. Your boss, Waziri Atiku Abubakar, knows that even on pain of death, I can NEVER betray him. Go and watch my various interviews. No matter how much I am baited to attack him, I have never and will never do so. Do you have such honour? You, that if Boko Haram gives you a little money now, you will feature them on Ovation and spin their terrorism as a freedom-fighting! Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate to Mexico. Gospeller.
