Today, 100 years ago, Robert Goddard accomplished the historic first flight of a liquid-propulsion rocket. An opportunity to pause for a moment and reflect on the immense path humanity has overcome so far.

The Czech Republic 🇨🇿urgently needs a national space agency, as many others have already done. It is because space is becoming a new global pillar of human development. The quality of terrestrial life in the long term depends on the infrastructure being created on LEO and beyond.

In the coming weeks, @Axiom_Space and @vast will announce the crew for their private missions to the ISS, planned for the first and second half of next year, respectively. Let's hope that one member of the two crew will be the Czech astronaut.

The Artemis Accords participants united in agreeing on its political principles. But, signatory countries' motivations, capabilities, and capacities to contribute to lunar exploration are deeply heterogeneous. It should not delay the beginning of the Artemis implementation.
