@Neim171826@rudkin_abigail Cause City winning another title means less. Theyre known winners, will always have the FFP asterisk to their name and people will stop caring a week after its won. Rather have that than to deal with obnoxious gooners for a year.
@SkySportsPL VAR dont understand what 'clear and obvious' means. They need better education and guidelines of when to be involved and when to shut up. Consistency is key here, cause right now theres none.
@DaveOCKOP It was the right decision from the referee, doesnt mean its not a d*ck move from Munoz though. Refs dont stop play for an 'ordinary' injury, thats true, but its still fair play and even common practice to kick the ball out - particularly concerning the goalie.
Oliver Glasner: “I think the referee has to stop immediately if he believes it is a serious injury.”
“But you could see the keeper could end the game. In these situations, to demand the referee has to stop is dangerous for the future because we see in every set-play the keeper is involved in a duel."
“If he clears the ball with his arm, he stays on the ground, and you never get a second phase.”
“This wouldn’t be the best for football. It was not so clear, but I think it was the right decision.”
“We were discussing it to be honest. I always said it was clear if the keeper was to be subbed, I would definitely score an own goal. Because then it was a serious injury and it would have been wrong. But in this situation, he felt pain in this moment.
“As keepers often do, they feel pain when they get hit from four-five yards.”
@AnfieldEdition@SportsPeteO Why would we be forced into the market? Sign a couple wingers, use Gakpo as the emergency striker replacement, then sell Gakpo in january. Job done.
🥈| @SportsPeteO: Although Liverpool are likely to be forced into the market for a striker as short-term cover for Hugo Ekitike, it is unlikely that they sign Randal Kolo Muani, despite links to the Spurs loanee.
@FootballRsc@TheOfficialFNG CAuse this competition has 2 ways to qualify; top 8 and winning a quarter of the season. Vitesse and ADO are competing for the final quarterly playoff ticket, ADO already qualified so if they win that ticket moves down to the 9th placed. Meaning DenBosch wants to lose to ADO 😭
@Pokemon Idk if its my favorite moment, but the most memorable is starting the fight with Cynthia 5 minutes before i had to go to school. Gods i dont think ive ever been as stressed as i was in that moment, did win though.
Pokémon Diamond Version and Pokémon Pearl Version was released on this day in 2007 on the Nintendo DS! Trainers explored the Sinnoh region, discovered more than 490 Pokémon, including the Legendary Pokémon Palkia or Dialga!
What is your favorite memory from this title?
@AnfieldEdition But you include Isak? His game time has been royally fucked by the summer transfer drama and then by the injury, lads had practically no chance at consistency untill these last couple gakes now.
🇸🇪 Alexander Isak (£125m)
🇩🇪 Florian Wirtz (£116m)
🇫🇷 Hugo Ekitike (£79m)
🇭🇺 Milos Kerkez (£40m)
🇳🇱 Jeremie Frimpong (£29.5m)
🇬🇪 Giorgi Mamardashvili (£27m)
With their debut seasons at Liverpool almost at an end, what would you rate the new signings’ first years out of 10? 👇
@AnfieldEdition@TuttoMercatoWeb Dont mind it. Love Ali, but he is injury prone as fuck for a goalie and, as we have a lot nowadays, almost out of a contract. Rather sell than let go for free. I trust Giorgi can make the step up
🚨| @TuttoMercatoWeb: Juventus are working on deal to sign Alisson this summer, and the goalkeeper is open to returning to Serie A.
Contract talks have been initiated, and the Italian side are prepared to offer a three-year deal to the Brazilian.
@AnfieldEdition Whats the point in even suggesting such a hypothetical. A win this season is as far from guaranteed as its ever been, especially away at Everton
@AnfieldEdition@_pauljoyce Ekitikes injury doesnt change that much. We needed wingers anyway, this just means we keep on Gakpo as a backup no.9. Its not pretty, but itll suffice so long as the wingers do their job
🎖️| @_pauljoyce: There was plenty of work to do before the complicating factor of Hugo Ekitike’s injury and Liverpool are assessing options, including RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, who is said to be valued at around £85m.
