I'll be honest, though I imagine this is a somewhat controversial subject: I personally don't have an issue with age verification on social media (WHEN IT WORKS). Of course, I've found these systems to be incredibly glitchy with practically every service that requires them...

@SanduFabur Usually they wouldn't have any way to pin your social media posts onto you, but with this, they easily would be able to do so- and they are already doing so now. Now thats why I generally disagree with this being a thing. The parents should handle it.

@SanduFabur In America generally we are against this, just because the FBI buys data from the verification companies to sidestep having to get proper search warrants through courts. So if you are American and sex worker for instance, they would almost immediately arrest you.
