I’ve sat on this for a bit.
If Duren keeps his asking price high, him back on the QO isn’t the worst thing for DET.
It’d give DET $36m under the tax to make creative upgrades mid season.
If he plays well, & DET is his best offer next summer, would he really still walk away?

Of these two scenarios, the first feels far more possible. I think the likelihood of Ausar being able to tighten up his handle so that he can deal with pressure is more reachable than Ausar shooting a solid percentage from 3 at a good volume
