@d1ament_ @deobeybi @ShrimpsCantCook That's always been the case for JYPE, though. We, the fans, are part of the promotions. That's why their idols have a slow-to-grow progress. JYPE's goals have always been build solid fanbases for their idols to last long.
But, no one is ready for that conversation. 🤷♀️

@d1ament_ @seungscience Because so many people just continue the “they’re not kpop” when they have Korean comebacks, wins on Korean music shows, wins on Korean award shows, live in Korea, all speak Korean, are managed by a Korean company etc.

@d1ament_ @seungscience They are a kpop group more than they are a jpop group, cause they’re not from the jpop idol industry, but they perform both jpop and kpop. They were made from and their creative team is from a Korean company. Let’s not box them out please.

@deobeybi @ShrimpsCantCook i think the fans have realized that if jype won’t promote their groups then they’ll just do it themselves atp 😭 but i do feel like i’ve seen a positive change recently with promotions which is giving me hope
