We mourn the loss of Paul Engelmann, a 2024 D2 CCA Meritorious Service Award winner. His visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to Division II athletics left an indelible mark. Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the UCM family.

UCM Athletics is saddened to hear of the passing of former longtime Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR) and UCM Athletic Hall of Famer Dr. Paul Engelmann. Engelmann served as the FAR for the Mules & Jennies from 1981 through July 2017 and played a significant role in collegiate athletics governance in the NCAA and MIAA. In addition, he was an economics professor and served as chair of the Department of Economics and Finance, later becoming the Associate Dean of the Harmon College of Business. Our thoughts are with the entire Engelmann family.
