For fellowship, no. For residency, yes. What's really needed is a record of performance that demonstrates discipline, motivation, teamwork, and compassion. There are lots of ways that potential for success can be demonstrated (grades and tests are considerations).

Sad to see you moving on, but ecstatic to see you moving up! You are joining a great group with supportive surgical leadership. You will continue to thrive and will be loved by your Austin patients.
