Unheralded D3 to D1 success story ⬇️ Toby Harris went from @BrandeisMBB to @IonaGaelsMBB, playing in 32 games & starting 12 His stat line on the season is impressive: 11.2 pts & 3.4 rbs/game, 44% FG & 41% 3PFG The line between levels is thinner than you think

Only few know that Tony Harris turned down D1 and D2 offers to go to D3 Brandeis. Valued his education over level and still finished at the D1 level. Heck of player for sure! @JeffreyBendel_ was in the gym next to me for many weekends watching him dominate!

Plenty of players went D1 and disappeared. Few talk about that part though.

What to do post-first impression: Send a follow-up email or text later that night or the next day, telling the coach it was great meeting them and that you look forward to learning more about their program in the future When prospects are proactive and demonstrate attention to detail, they rise up on our rankings We are communicating with our college players most days, and need them to be responsive, so how attentive a prospect is is something we absolutely take note of

If the interaction is in person, stay off your phone Be attentive and hold the conversation Coaches want to see how engaged you are and if you can stick with a conversation without getting distracted

D3 NIL Advice ⬇️ Be a big fish in a small pond Ex. @UWWAthletics in Whitewater, WI - Football team gets +20k fans at games - Whitewater's total population: 14.9k In small towns like this across America, D3 athletes are uniquely situated to land local brand & partnership deals
