I absolutely loved the open discussions at @d3unconf and it would be awesome if more conferences had an 'unconference' moment to truly allow the community to participate - @encode_info, maybe this is something for next year?

today is the unconf part of the #visfestunconf, we have 4 sessions throughout the day where folks split up into 3 groups to discuss various topics. the groups collaboratively take notes so we capture the knowledge share too!
