Urgent Appeal on NELFUND Loan Disbursement and Students’ Academic Survival Dear KWASU Vice-Chancellor, With due respect, sir, I write with a heavy heart on behalf of thousands of KWASU students who are currently in deep distress due to the delay in the release of the NELFUND loan meant for school fees payment. At this moment, many students are in serious pain and uncertainty. A large number are unable to complete their course registration, while others are missing out on ongoing tests and academic activities simply because they cannot afford their school fees. For some students, this loan represents their only hope of remaining in school. These students are not unwilling to pay, they are only waiting for the refund to be released so they can proceed with payment on the school portal. Many of them come from very poor backgrounds, have exhausted all personal and family resources, and are now facing daily emotional, psychological, and academic pressure. Sir, the fear of being sent out of examination halls, barred from tests, or losing an entire academic session is weighing heavily on these students. The atmosphere on campus is filled with anxiety, hopelessness, and silent tears, especially as the course registration deadline is barely five days away and students continue to wait patiently for relief. We humbly and passionately appeal for your kind intervention, understanding, or possible directive that can help ease this burden either by expediting the process or by granting temporary academic consideration while students await the refund, or by ensuring that the payment is automatically reflected on the students’ school portals. Your compassion and timely support at this critical moment will not only save academic careers but also restore hope to thousands of young Nigerians who believe strongly in the leadership of KWASU. Urgent Appeal Regarding Outstanding Disbursements for KWASU Students
We wish to bring to the attention of @NELFUND that students of Kwara State University (KWASU) are yet to receive their upkeep allowances for the 2025/2026 session.
Furthermore, the 2024/2025 upkeep was only partially fulfilled with two payments, and tuition disbursements remain pending.
We kindly urge the Fund to expedite these payments to alleviate the growing financial strain on our students. Reliable support is crucial for our academic focus.

@NELFUND what you are doing for us here in kwasu is not good ,am sorry to say you are not useful to us……you said you are supporting students with upkeep but we haven’t see anything this year and last year which is 2024/2025 we where only payed twice before you guys write stop
