We're having a blast celebrating our 20th anniversary 🎉   Today marks the start of a week's worth of celebration, and it's been all about kindness. (With some Bhangra dancing 💃🕺)   We had various stalls for customers and colleagues to visit, all themed around being kind to:   🧘‍♀️ yourself and your well-being 🏘 your neighbours and the community 🌎 and to the planet   After our opening ceremony with Dhol drumming and Bhangra dancers, @whgGaryF, our Group Chief Executive, gave a brief speech which included the following:   "It's a huge honour to reflect on what we've achieved over the past 20 years. From investing over one billion into our homes, providing services that are having a positive impact on the community, to housing thousands of people across the Midlands." 📣 And the celebration doesn’t stop here! Throughout this week we’ll be hosting a range of activities for our customers and colleagues to enjoy - watch this space.

We speak to Craig Varian, Director of Estates @DWPgovuk who joins us as our newest board and committee member. 🗞🏢   Prior to joining DWP, Craig had a varied property career within; 🏥 health and safety 🌍 sustainability 📖 compliance 🏗️ construction   He has worked for private sector construction companies, housing associations and regulators and has sat on UK Construction Technical Committees.   With his wealth of experience in housing, Craig will be a valuable addition to our governance structure and will play a key role in shaping our next corporate plan. 📖
