@redseas07 I could try learning how to code but I'd be left in the same spot: unable to actively contribute until someone else finishes their part of the project. I'd be able to help out more sure, but at the end of the day the underlying issue isn't solved, and nobody should carry a mod.

this is one of the things im still not certain on how to actually overcome. not the urge to remake stuff, but the "incompetence" of the rest of the team i say incompetence because im at a lack of a less harsh word, but it kind of is just that. i constantly go through development teams that just simply don't match mine or others' drive and/or passion, shown by unresponsiveness, unwillingness, and general disinterest with the project. my solution so far has kinda been just booting the people that hold development down and getting others instead. its a process of finding "the right people" if that makes sense. im not sure if this is the right or the best solution, but its whats worked with me so far

Hi everyone! I'd like to share some news on Sonic Originals; I'M REAL (Defined) will not be sampling Poison for the vocals anymore. Hopefully this won't be too much of a change considering what we'll do instead, but I think you guys will enjoy the new version as well! The storyboard for it is done, but we're still working on sprites and bgs. Tick Tock (Defined) is in the mixing process, I can't lie it's been quite difficult to mix it in a way that sounds good for everyone, but hopefully we'll be able to get it sounding good! Art-wise, we are around the same situation as I'M REAL (Defined). moribund. (Defined) is completely finished song-wise, and in the process of storyboarding! Soon we'll move onto the art for this one, although a couple assets have already been finalized! Work It! is done song-wise as well, but the art needs a lot of stuff still. I'm pretty excited about this one, even though I didn't work on it! In general, since we basically just started picking it up again, as well as the fact that most of the team is going through school and college, progress has been a little slow. I don't think it should take too long for us to pick it back up fully, so please, have patience y'all!! (Reminder that, while the mod started back in late 2024, most of 2025 went by with very little progress. I talked about this in another post on Sonic Originals, but I'm hoping that we're able to get done with it this year, within the next couple months!) #sonicoriginals (Art by @michimoomo)

@d_dippity @Bronze_Noon Note that if somehow we can prove that a soul is generated the moment a sperm touches an egg cell, I would absolutely change feelings on the matter (although dunno about stance, again this is a very complex issue). But this is what we know right now.

@d_dippity @user823493247 Even in instances where the pregnancy was entirely the fault of the mother, if they terminate it when it is just a cluster of cells before it becomes a full-blown fetus, they haven't really terminated a life. Is a soul created at the moment the sperm touches the egg?

@d_dippity @user823493247 As I said before, no one does this willy nilly, but each person's circumstance can be different. Maybe it is a rape victim. maybe they cannot financially support them, maybe the pregnancy was an accident.

@d_dippity @user823493247 This is just where we have to fundamentally disagree. Because even if I did agree with your view on what a fetus is, if a mother wants to terminate the pregnancy before it comes to term, then whatever reason she arrived at must be important enough to warrant it.
