The Knave kickstarter sample seems to be adding 11 to level for target numbers etc. instead of 10. Anyone want to explain this to me please?

The whole of the difference between when I started playing in the 1980s and rpgs now is that I used to think of the differences between games in terms of different things you could kill, and gamers nowadays seem to be thinking in terms of different things you can have sex with.

I’m happy that there is a new D&D edition coming. I *love* how inclusive D&D is now and I want to play *all* my RPG games inclusively like that, regardless of edition. 5th Ed is a bit fiddly for me so I won’t play it so much - I like all my simpler old school editions these days.

They finally got to Salman Rushdie. That is pretty bloody awful and I wish him well. Saw him at the Oxford Union in the 90s just after he came out of hiding. One of the greats.
