من مات على التوحيد ومن مات على الشرك قال تعالى :( وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدَ ءَامِنࣰا وَٱجۡنُبۡنِی وَبَنِیَّ أَن نَّعۡبُدَ ٱلۡأَصۡنَامَ ) ففي الآية بيان أن السلامة من الشرك ليست بقوة عقل العبد ولا بمجرد انتسابه للإسلام، وإنما بتوفيق الله وتثبيته ، وفي صحيح مسلم ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ-رضي الله عنه-، قَالَ : أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَا الْمُوجِبَتَانِ ؟ فَقَالَ : " مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَمَنْ مَاتَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ النَّارَ " و أصله في الصحيحين من حديث ابن مسعود رضي الله عنهم ، فدلّ الحديث على أن العبرة بما يموت عليه العبد؛ فمن مات على التوحيد دخل الجنة، ومن مات على الشرك دخل النار، نسأل الله الثبات على التوحيد حتى الممات •

✨ 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐝 𝐓𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - 𝐃𝐡𝐮𝐥-𝐇𝐢𝐣𝐣𝐚𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐡𝐮𝐥-𝐇𝐢𝐣𝐣𝐚𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐛. This means that the Day of ‘Arafah will fall on Tuesday 26th May, and ‘Eid Al-Adha will be on Wednesday 27th May, insha’Allah. As we enter these virtuous 10 days, it is important to be aware of some key rulings and recommended acts of worship. Below are five important rulings related to the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah: 1️⃣ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐡𝐮𝐥-𝐇𝐢𝐣𝐣𝐚𝐡 The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are among the best days of the year. In fact, some scholars, such as Ibn Rajab Al-Hanbali, held the view that they are even superior to the last ten nights of Ramadhan - based on the generality of the hadith reported by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father), in which the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these days.” They said: “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah?” He replied: “Not even jihad - except for a man who goes out risking his life and wealth and returns with nothing.” Reported by Al-Bukhari Due to this, it is recommended to fast during these days, to give abundant charity, and to engage in voluntary acts of worship - such as night prayer (Qiyam Al-Layl), regular sunnah prayers, and the like. 2️⃣ 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐛𝐢𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 It is encouraged to frequently proclaim the Takbir aloud during these ten days, whether going out or returning home, in one’s house and elsewhere. Al-Bukhari mentioned that Ibn ‘Umar and Abu Hurayrah would go out to the marketplace during the ten days and raise their voices in Takbir, prompting the people to follow them in doing so. It has been authentically reported by Ibn Abi Shaybah that Ibn Masud and his companions would say: “Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, La ilaha illa Allah; Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, wa lillahil-hamd.” 3️⃣ 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 ‘𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐡 The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stated that fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah expiates the sins of two years. He (ﷺ) said: “It expiates the previous year and the following year.” Reported by Muslim 4️⃣ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐝𝐡’𝐡𝐢𝐲𝐚 (𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠) One of the most virtuous acts of drawing closer to Allah during this period is the slaughtering of a sacrificial animal. The shedding of blood and the sacrifice of life for the sake of Allah is greatly emphasised. It is preferable to perform the sacrifice within the household so that the ritual is observed and its significance is upheld.
