@HimanshuKumar40 I don’t want reservations to become entrenched like this though. Would rather see them repealed root and stem. May become harder to do it now that provisions are in place corresponding to an inter-subjectively ascertainable standard.

@dab_chick My guess it is more to do with availing state related provisions like reservation , in that case I support this move. Prove your queerness for the state or do not avail such things.

It seems like the removal of self-id provisions is only applicable on official documents, and to e.g avail of special provisions in the law wrt anti discrimination. It does not seem to prohibit anyone from simply living their life in a self-id manner. Am i wrong in my assessment?

Don't forget that the judge made Afroman pay for half of the lawsuit. Even though he won. Even though they raided his house and caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage. Even after they sued him for exercising his freedom of speech. Even though when someone loses, they typically have to pay their legal fees AND the other party's legal fees. But then, this is what we've come to expect: consequences for us, but none for them. We're working to change that.
