Ange Postecoglou appreciation tweet. Spurs aren't in this position if he was still there.

"It's Spursy, that's what it is!" 😳 Strong words from Ange Postecoglou on Spurs’ mentality... 🧐

The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today. Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we have been determined to give him the time and support needed to build for the future together. However, results and performances have led the Board to conclude that a change at this point in the season is necessary. Throughout his time at the Club, Thomas has conducted himself with unwavering commitment, giving everything in his efforts to move the Club forward. We would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him every success in the future.

More pressure on Thomas Frank. But how can he be responsible for Romero banned for 4 games for a bad challenge (amazingly, some people arguing it wasn’t a red) and Udogie limping off with another injury? Frank without Maddison, Kulusevski, Kudus, Porro, Richarlison, Bentancur, Davies, Spence and Danso. 100 injuries across PL clubs atm, and Spurs especially badly hit. #TOTMUN #THFC

More injury news: -Lucas Bergvall is set to be assessed later today. -Rodrigo Bentancur is also due to be assessed later today, but Thomas Frank admitted that his injury ‘looks like a bigger one’

🎙️| Thomas Frank on Tottenham’s poor results vs Liverpool last season: “We conceded a few goals in those games. Probably a good idea to also defend a bit, I think that’s fair.” [@TimesSport]

I do find it very interesting how much nicer the media are being to Thomas Frank during his downfall than they ever were to Ange. He seems to be getting a grace period that Ange was never afforded, the moment it started going badly for Ange the ridicule commenced. And he was a man who’d won numerous trophies and started with 26 points from his first 10 games. We’ve witnessed two of the most insipid performances from any club in the premier league era in recent weeks, with the two lowest xG’s in the entire league both coming from Frank’s Tottenham & the questions and scrutiny he’s receiving seem relatively tame. This is a man who’s never won a major trophy in his career. Who’s moved from a club with zero expectation. Who’s remit for the past 4 years has been to stay in the league, with anything else being a bonus. He’s managed a club that barely get an inch of a newspaper column when they lose, and when they beat a big club, the headlines will be about the club that lost. I want the questions tomorrow to be hard hitting and critical - Frank needs to be questioned. He needs to be asked if his tactic is to kick the ball long at every opportunity. He needs to be asked why we by pass our midfield and why he doesn’t include more progressive players in there. Because the PSG we play on Wednesday are not the same PSG we played in August. They are the best side in Europe. They’ve already put 7 past a Bayer Leverkusen side who would likely wipe the floor with us. If he doesn’t approach this in the right way then this could be a complete humiliation & another day that the fans have to suffer. God have mercy on us

🎙️| Thomas Frank: “I want to apologise to the fans. We are very disappointed and unhappy with the performance today. Definitely a lot to work on still. It's worth remembering that we finished 17th last season.”
