Quite amazing that the sporting director of Tottenham Hotspur justified the January window by saying ‘the injured players will come back’, yet most of those players are still injured/their situations have worsened and the list is continuing to pile up

Tottenham captain Cristian Romero to miss remainder of the season with a partial tear of his medial cruciate ligament. Expected recovery time around eight weeks leaving his World Cup hopes in the balance. @BBCSport

So every tackle from Sunderland is strong but every single tackle from Spurs is reckless. Did Don Goodman play for Sunderland @SkySports never known commentary like it!!

On January 1st, Tottenham sold Brennan Johnson.
On January 4th, Mohammed Kudus gets a bad hamstring injury.
The club decided it wasn’t necessary to bring in anyone to replace them, with Johan Lange even admitting it himself:
“The injured players are coming back. there’s no point in signing players who can’t help us in either the short or long term.”
Fast forward 3 months, #THFC haven’t won a game since, Kudus is out for the season, and the club could be in the bottom three next time they play.
Absolutely unforgivable. 🤦♂️

I AM SO SICK OF WATCHING THE SAME PATHETIC RUBBISH WEEK AFTER WEEK AFTER WEEK.
NO INTENSITY.
NO DESIRE.
NO LEADERS.
IT’S NOT EVEN ABOUT LOSING. I CAN ACCEPT LOSING IF THERE’S EFFORT. IF THERE’S PASSION.
BUT WATCHING A TEAM WALK AROUND, PASS SIDEWAYS, HIDE FROM THE BALL, AND LOOK COMPLETELY SHOCKED WHEN THE OTHER TEAM ACTUALLY PLAYS WITH INTENSITY IS JUST EMBARRASSING.
THIS CLUB HAS ONE OF THE BEST STADIUMS IN THE WORLD, SOME OF THE MOST LOYAL FANS IN FOOTBALL, AND YET ON THE PITCH IT LOOKS LIKE A TEAM WITH ZERO STANDARDS AND ZERO MENTALITY.
SICK OF THE EXCUSES.
SICK OF THE SAME STORY.
SICK OF WATCHING PLAYERS WHO LOOK LIKE THEY DON’T CARE HALF AS MUCH AS THE PEOPLE IN THE STANDS.

Absolutely comical consistency as ever from the @FA_PGMOL.
I suppose if his name was Gabriel Magalhães and he played in red this would be given as a foul?
