Steel Song – Deck Overview Steel Song isn’t the easiest deck to mulligan with, but the core game plan is very strong once you understand your priorities. The deck is built around discarding key characters—primarily Doc and Lilo— and then bringing them back from the discard pile through Rewrite History or Lilo’s passive ability. At the same time, the deck leverages Singer, Troubadour, and Pete to cast powerful songs ahead of your opponent, keeping them on the back foot from the early turns. Early Game: Disruption and Setup The early game is focused on disruption and positioning. A turn-2 Mowgli is a critical play, as it prevents opponents from using Strength or Bolt, disrupting early tempo and checking to see if tiana on 3 will be viable. You can also establish an early Singer or Troubadour to eliminate opposing singers before their song engines come online, further slowing their game plan. Mid to Late Game: Board Control As the game progresses, Steel Song transitions into building a durable, high-pressure board. The ideal setup involves Tiana paired with Champion Mickey or Rajah, creating a resilient board state that’s difficult for opponents to answer efficiently. Once this core is established, the deck excels at maintaining tempo, controlling opposing threats, and closing out games through sustained value from Lilo/Doc recursion and board dominance. Champion mickey solo singing bth happens more often then you think. Tech Options and Flexibility Lexington can be considered to provide additional answers to evasive threats or consider Horseman strikes. BTH offers a strong tool for discarding particularly troublesome Blue/Purple/green matchups, giving the deck extra reach against slower, control-oriented strategies. While the deck isn’t perfect, Steel Song offers a compelling alternative to traditional Steel Champion-style builds, rewarding disciplined mulligans, thoughtful sequencing, and patient, calculated play. It aint the same - its not Tier 0 or even close to that but its what we got. #lorcana
