one thing about a bad habit is how you don't feel the consequences until after you're done with the nonsense you're doing. as a visually impaired hooman like me, too much screen time was one of the things I was asked to reduce if I wanted to cope with my poor eyesight mostly because light is the source of the problem, my eyes can't accommodate light as a normal eye would (that's why I hate the sun too) but as a stubborn Individual, what did I do? I spent the last 3 days on my phone, back to back, reading novels even if I'm glad I was able to read 5 novels in 3 days(currently on my 6th one), I'm still struggling because now, my eyes are giving up on me and I hate wearing my glasses sm 😭 but I have no choice than to do that now. and guess what I'll do afterwards? read my novels! I'll see you guys when my eyes are better (or not) but yeah, don't test the waters bad habits can be addicting and difficult to change ciao 🧚🏾‍♀️
