Because no judiciary on earth( leave apart INDIA) can honestly investigate facts, statements, provocation, medical context, CCTV, witnesses — in a single day. Let’s be clear: This wasn’t justice. This was reputation management. Sacrifice the doctor fast. Save institutional image. Ignore the other party completely. No FIR. No inquiry. No accountability. For years, we have seen videos of doctors being assaulted, and the armchair intellectuals remained silent. Many even mocked the doctors’ plight instead of raising their voice. Now one video emerges where a doctor refuses to get beaten up and takes action to safeguard himself, and suddenly we have people giving us gyaan. Sorry, we do not need it. Every doctor has the right to defend himself or herself. Our resident doctors, who work day in and day out, often in emergencies and in pathetic conditions, are not punching bags. To those who think they can hit a doctor, Fuck Off!

This fucking lie. No, you don’t spend anything on us. The hospital exists independent of college. AIIMS was created a hospital - not just for MBBS. Institutes like PGI don’t even have MBBS. You can’t take health budget and divide by number of MBBS students and say we spend that much. The budget for academics is 10% of entire budget of hospital. If you spend - it’s 3-5L, not 30L/year. And most govt colleges now already have 2-3L fees. There is zero subsidy.
