As someone said recently, we are not the richest club in the world but a new asset in one of the worlds biggest investment funds, who are about to make massive investment in our club … there is a difference! PIF et al can obviously see the need for, and the will to, invest in us

So, If I've understood correctly, a Prime Minister doing a cracking job, must resign, because he's not brilliant at telling people what a cracking job he's doing? Let it sink in, just how much bullshit the UK media is feeding the public. Dog shit. #starmermuststay

Hi @SkySports where is the rousing praise in favour of #WHU to balance the #Spurs wankfest …. Oh sorry I forgot .. corruption rules .. are we taking bets that it’s a controversial VAR that keeps them up?

@Cpass12David Are you seriously asking why these people don’t report the Labour government’s successes?

Dave Hibbert, BA(Hons), ACTUS, Cert.Ed. Rejoin EU.
The Guardian: “Net migration down by three-quarters, the biggest fall in NHS waiting lists for 17 years, knife crime cut by 10%, the economy growing the fastest in the G7, rising wages, energy bills and petrol prices held down, the biggest sustained rise in defence spending since the cold war, a massive expansion of free childcare … If Keir Starmer did tub-thumping lists of Labour’s achievements in the style of Gordon Brown, he would not actually have a shortage of things to talk about.” During the two years of Labour government, following fourteen years of Tory mismanagement, there have actually been significant improvements in Britain. Why does the Tory media not report them?

If the subject of the £5m donation scandal was a member of the Cabinet, a senior SNP, Plaid or Green politician, he or she would be getting doorstepped an monstered everywhere they went. The double standards are sickening

Turns out the person who benefited most from our EU membership was the guy who worked there for 20 years, taking a fat cat salary and pulling a final pension before burning the bridge for the rest of us and claiming a £5m bonus. Farage, what a massive cock

Right so Keir Starmer has reduced immigration by over 70%, kept us out of the Iran War, massively boosted defence spending, reduced NHS waiting times, and started growing the economy again. But we should sack him off for Burnham in under 2 years because Manchester has £2 buses?

@kim68505196 @tomedwardsbbchw According to the government in response to having a by election when MPs change parties … we don’t vote for parties we vote for individuals already … it’s a total nonsense when they are all allowed to promote the party and not the individual per se

@tomedwardsbbchw We seriously seriously need to sort our political system out. Maybe abolish all parties and everyone gets elected on what they believe as an individual. No whips. Just honest decent folk doing the right thing (as they see it).

This is an extraordinary situation - Alan Amos has emailed Reform councillors appealing for unity in a bid to kill the plotting off, but there is a split within the group. Up to eight Reform councillors are believed to be unsure what to do ahead of tomorrow's full council. 2/3

Out of curiosity, why is there so much pressure on Starmer to resign But no pressure on Nigel Farage who took a £5,000,000 gift from a foreign billionaire and coincidentally started calling for the very thing the foreign billionaire wants for the UK, crypto deregulation?

Whatever complaints MPs have about Keir Starmer, they are now descending into the kind of headless chickenry that - whatever and whoever the outcome - will make the situation even worse for Labour. If there is a grand plan starring Catherine West and a few PPSs, then it doesn’t feel terribly thought through. A period of calm would do none of them any harm. The general election is a fair way off. The next legislative programme is about to be unveiled. There are better ways to reach such an important decision and better times too. You are MPs not commentators who exist to feed a frenzy.

Quite unbelievable really .. totally ignored that the foul on Mavrapanos was the first thing they should be looking at .. everything after that is irrelevant … a goal or a penalty to West Ham should have been the right decision … but as usual the Red cartel wins again #WHUARS

There is a common misconception that the “happy clappers” who don’t want Howe out feel this way because we deem the performances and results are acceptable. WE DON’T. What we do feel is that he deserves some loyalty from us, and another summer to get things right #NUFC
