@willrallison Two wrongs definitely don’t make a right. But idk. I wonder what it would be like to have districts that are equitable and put us on an equal playing field so the actual best candidates win? Gerrymandering is voter suppression.

The redistricting debate seems to be a good litmus test for reasonability. I’ve seen opposition to it from the left and right flanks of the Dems and the unifying trait is that the opposition is delusional.

You cannot save democracy by accelerating the erosion of democracy. It might feel good for Democrats to gerrymander blue states in response to GOP redistricting, but it’s a case of the people losing in both places. The issue is corporate & dark money in politics.
