@daemon404 This is so, so devastating. I saw a few of the team at adobe max and how passionately they highlighted the Vimeo staff picks and how human curation goes into it. I felt so emotional but then read about the acquisition and just knew ... that'd be gone.

Reviving this account to say: Almost everyone at Vimeo was laid off yesterday, including the entire video team. If you're looking for talented engineers, there are a few on the market. Sucks to see something I built killed by private equity in a technology company skin suit.
