@KariDaniels By the time A Ma Maniere launched as a brand, RF had already launched 30+ collaborative projects with Asics (just counting the footwear!) and was celebrating Kith's 5 year anniversary. Simply put, Ronnie Fieg's name and association with KITH holds more weight

@KariDaniels I think it's just this part people are tired of seeing. Repeat with snkrs. The reasons don't really matter. It's not pure selfishness, but at some point it becomes demoralizing. Yeah, i won the zions (nike made a billion of them) and jfg always provides for the people.

@KariDaniels I don't think it's just that no one wants them because they're too available. I think some people who do want them are waiting for sales because they can see what's coming. Also let's not pretend everything Nike makes is a banger. There might be a few people just don't like

We want to “restore the feeling”, but we’re officially stuck in a stalemate with the brands. The shoes the brand thinks would sell out nobody wants cause they’re too available but hosting community events for limited heat makes no sense. Can’t win for losing.

@KariDaniels Yeah, this is all I'm saying. I want to see Nike succeed, but when I walk around town and just see college kids wearing anything but Nike, it's not the kids' fault. Now they have a thing that seems like it should appeal and isn't super expensive.. nope, same tactics.

I like the idea of building demand through scarcity but Nike has to do better with knowing when the right time is to unload enough stock to satisfy the demand you’ve created
