If you approach law enforcement with a gun, there is a high likelihood they will be legally justified in shooting you. Don’t do it!

We’ll be trying something next season but honestly providing scrims is the worst thing a TO can do and is an overall net negative tbh (there’s a big reason why nobody else hosts collegiate scrims) We’d be better off cancelling scrims than hosting em after doing this for 3 years now. Firstly ya never want to implement rules that force teams out of a playstyle. That = teams don’t sign up. Rules that “limit” engagements = teams don’t sign up. Rules about divisional priority/day = teams don’t sign up (half and half). On top of that it’s concerns with teams equating scrim rules to matchday rules (which is on teams but again, having so many specific differing rules on scrims vs matchday is generally bad). Even with all this implemented you probably STILL won’t see an increase in quality because 👇 You can’t make up for a wide skill distribution by implementing crazy amount of rules and we’ve learned it the hard way. “Force” zone? Teams fight each other in zone and die in zone. Yojre also eliminating a viable and heavily used edge playstyle. Inting? What and who and how do you determine what is inting vs just taking a fight and sucking? You can’t heavily punish teams because there’s not enough # of signups to justify banning teams from scrims as if they aren’t there next week, a lobby won’t happen and all the teams get punished. Removing them from the match day of also mitigated quality, etc etc etc. This isn’t even a collegiate specific issue but rather one across the board in apex, but it’s mitigated because the skill gap is way closer in those lobbies so it doesn’t look *as* bad. 🤷♀️ I guess we’ll see what spring holds
