Excited to finally announce the launch of this project. Looking forward to leading this stellar team with co-PIs @tomoxl, @PutrinoLab, and David Lacomis to run the first US-based trial of the Stentrode BCI. Grateful to @NIH BRAIN for funding this effort.

Understanding the performance and failure modes of these sensors in humans is an important step toward building tech to improve the lives of those with neurological injuries and disorders. We hope that this data will lead to better neural interfaces in the future!
