Intro took on an abandoned project and we decided to test whether a soapy presoak was beneficial before pressure washing. Conclusion.. no need to waste time soaking before you put the pressure to it. #chscollision.

We recently took a trip to Strip Technologies and B Rod or Customs. We had a great time and there was plenty to discuss once we were back in the classroom. Loads of knowledge and inspiration! Thank you PJ and Larry Burchett for being such great and generous host.

We always start each project with a degreasing scrub down followed by inspection and damage assessment. Next we take an extra step before disassembly and abrasives by protecting panels that are adjacent to painted surfaces. #chscollision #gobobcats

We were honored to be the host class for @KnoxSchools big announcement this morning. @KnoxCentralHS will offer three academies as we move forward and our favorite has to be the Automotive Services and Technology Academy! #GoBobcats #CHSCollision

Super excited to announce the @KnoxCentralHS #865Academies pathways this morning. Our students will be entering either the Academy of Automotive Services and Technology, the Academy of Business and Design, or the Academy of Health and Life Sciences. We are #865Ready #KCSRegion4

I was also thankful to @knoxcentralhs student Justus Hayes for providing t-shirts produced by his company, Blended Clothing! Justus is a great example of the entrepreneurial spirit that is part of this initiative.

Our 865 Academies initiative to transform the high school experience celebrated a big milestone this morning. Our students did a terrific job announcing their academy offerings, and it was encouraging to see so many community partners supporting this effort!

On Thursday, January 26, the first cohort of schools from The 865 Academies will unveil their career-themed academies. We're excited about this initiative to transform the high school experience, and look forward to celebrating this important milestone!

Last week we learned about mix ratios with food die and water, had some prime time in the booth and then sanded it all back down just right. 👌 We’ll be painting tomorrow to wrap this project up just in time for Fall Break. What color do you think they chose?
