5/6 - The codebase is archived at the Bitcoin Wiki: en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Open_Sour…. The era it opened lasted about 20 months. Avalon shipped the first commercial Bitcoin ASICs in January 2013, and FPGA mining became unviable almost immediately.

10/11 - Voorhees had sold SatoshiDice shares on the Global Bitcoin Stock Exchange at launch. The SEC later charged him with unregistered securities. He settled in June 2014, paying ~$50,000 in disgorgement, one of Bitcoin's first major regulatory enforcement actions.
