This collection of haiku and senryu pulses with a quiet intensity, capturing the subtle but powerful interactions between nature, tradition, and the people who live within it. Every verse feels like a snapshot of a reality so tangible, you can almost feel the mud underfoot, and smell the ripe jackfruit. Nair’s writing is grounded in the rich, sensory experiences of daily life, but there’s something else at play—an almost voyeuristic dive into the smallest details.
